Market Decisions was founded in 1994 by two highly experienced Retail Location Specialists, whose combined experience in retail totaled 32 years, and whose exposure ranged from supermarkets to banking. The company was formed as a Strategic Retail Agency providing comprehensive retail strategies in all of the critical disciplines including marketing, store location, retail store sizing and customer demographics, initially within the sphere of retailing.
Retailing plays an important role in the development of a community and in fulfilling its needs. Evolution in retailing in any country influences the manner in which a country adapts to change within its environment. Retailing is dynamic, challenging, volatile, comprising a multi-billion Rand market and employing a vast number of people.

This alliance will facilitate a vision of putting our Information and Intelligence in the hands and or on the desktop of every decision maker, across all sectors! In 2004 we have made a big investment to spatially enable all our data and were proud to announce the formation of our GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Department.

We train and employ members of the previously disadvantaged peoples for the bulk of our fieldwork. In order to empower the youth, final year students in our field are given an internship as part of their university studies.
