Our aviation research programme was established more than 25 years ago and provided Market Decisions with a deep understanding of passenger movement, tourism and travel behaviour. Today, that experience informs our broader work in population, retail, GIS and market intelligence across Southern Africa and Africa.
In the AVIATION sphere, we focused on Passenger research as well as Airport research with the monthly ASQ Passenger Surveys and the ASQP Queue management across all process. In addition, we also compiled weekly maintenance reports, and kept detailed records of travel patterns through airport statistics.
Our annual TOURISM report looks at the tourism markets into the country, the visitor profiles and add destination intelligence, which each embassy and tourism body can take forward.
DESTINATIONS South Africans travel abroad, travel locally and contribute to the economy through accommodation, retail and tourism “hotspots”.
